It is very easy to recycle in Omaha. You can get a green bin for free. You need to call 402-444-5238 and you can get a green bin.  Once you have your green bin you can put recyclables in it and they will  take it to First Star Fiber.

First Star Fiber is were Omaha's recyclables are recycled.  We went to First Star Fiber on a field trip. In First Star Fiber there is big stacks of bottles and cans. They sell recyclables to China and other countries. They use their cans to planes  Most of their recyclables go to China. 
Things that can be recycled in the green bin:
- Paper that tears
- Cardboard
- Plastics (1,2,3,and 5)
- Steel Cans (Like soup cans)
- Aluminum Cans
- Juice boxes
Things that can not be recycled in the green bin:
- Diapers
- Food
- Yard Waste
- Styrofoam
- Plastic Bags
- 4,6,7 Plastics

Our Recycling Lab Report

Our lab report is about our recycling lab. We did our lab at home with our parents. On the lab report there was only 5 things that are recyclable in our trash at home.

Problem: How many recyclable things do you think you’d find in your trash can?
Hypothesis: I think I will have five recyclable things in my trash can.
Experiment: Analyze the contents of the trash at our home.
Conclusion: My hypothesis was right and I did have only 5 things in my trash can. I learned that I can recycle more because a lot of recyclables in my trash can and I also learned that when we recycle it saves space for landfills.
